Factory worker, bus conductress in Scotland and Community Centre worker in Cowgate.
Lived in Cowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne. Was born in Hamilton
Sadly passed away after a battle with Cancer.
Left behind three sons Alan, Christopher and Joseph, brother Hugh, sisters Isobel and Emma,
Grandchildren Stephanie, Amy, Danny, Joseph and Jack, sons partners - Claire, Lisa and Haley.
Brothers in law Pete and Hughie. Sister in law Mary and Lots of nephews and nieces - Carole, Donna,
Peter, Hughie, Mark, Leslie-Anne, Caroline, Christina, Sean and all their partners and children who
will all miss her dearly.
Her wishes were to have her ashes and those of her daughter Jean (who was sadly killed in a tragic
road accident some years ago) to be taken to Scotland were she was born and raised and have them
buried in her Father Joe's Grave together with him and her Aunt Lizzie.
Mary was a selfless person who would help anyone who asked for it. She loved her children and
grandchildren and was never happier than when they were all around her. Visitors were always made
welcome at her home where she loved to have a natter and a cuppa. She had many friends who would say
she was great company and a true friend. All her nephews and nieces loved to visit her and their
favourite memory of her was when she taught them all to sing Aunty Mary had a canary. She will be
sadly missed by all the family and friends who loved her.
Now she is at peace with the loved ones that have gone before her. So farewell Mary from all the
Family. R.I.P.
